Bohemian Paradise – Paradise in the heart of Bohemia

The film documentary captures the unique natural and cultural heritage of Bohemian Paradise through the time. It is a landscape full of extinct volcanoes, rich vegetation, gullies, forests, wetlands and ponds, medieval castles, chateaus and folk architecture. The sandstone rock formations that create so-called “rock towns” are what is unique about Bohemian Paradise. In 1955 Bohemian Paradise became the first protected area in Czechoslovakia (26 min).
